 Happy Auctions: How to Use Free Bids

Happy Auctions are our free-to-participate auction type where you use your Free Bids earned through the Rewards Program. Happy Auctions are perfect for scoring gift cards, smaller electronics, and more. They're also great for winning discounted bid packs to use in our Penny Auctions. Look for the smiley face icon to join this type of free-to-participate auction.

Penny Auctions: How to Use Purchased Bids

Penny Auctions are our pay-to-participate auction type, where you use purchased bids to score great deals on all your favorite products like tablets, jewelry, gaming consoles and more. You can purchase bids HERE or, win them in a Happy Auction. Look for the 1-cent icon to join this type of auction.
Now it's time to pick a product!  To bid on any auction, simply click the BID button.  Each time you place a bid, 1 bid is deducted from your bid balance and the auction price is increased by a small amount.  For our Penny Auctions, the increment amount is $0.01 and for our Happy Auctions, it's $0.02. The Auction Timer tells you how much time remains in the auction.  Once it's down to the final seconds, each bid placed tacks a couple extra seconds onto the timer.  Think of this like the "Going once... Going twice..." call in a traditional auction.  It gives all bidders an equal opportunity to bid again. When the Auction Timer reaches 0:00 and there are no more bidders, if you're the last person to place a bid, you WIN the auction for the final auction price!
Didn't win? Whenever you see the Buy It icon, it means that if you don't win that auction, you have the opportunity to purchase the product at its retail value and get your bids back. Read more about the Buy It Feature here. To start the delivery process, simply pay the final auction price and shipping charges, and your win will be on its HAPPY way to you.
